Rules

1. Einer aus eurer Gruppe wird als Fänger ausgezählt.

2. Hat er einen Mitspieler gefangen, fassen sich die beiden an den Händen und versuchen nun, weitere Spieler zu fangen. Wer geschnappt wird, gibt dem letzten in der Reihe die Hand.

3. Nur jeweils der Erste und Letzte in der Kette darf mit der freien Hand ein weiteres Kind abschlagen.

4. Zerreißt die Kette an einer Stelle, darf niemand gefangen werden, bis die Reihe wieder geschlossen ist.

5. Denke daran, auf die Partner Rücksicht zu nehmen, die nicht so schnell sind!

1. Count out who is going to be on it.

2. When he catches someone, he takes them by the hand and together they try to catch other players. Each child who is caught has to hold hands with the last person in the chain.

3. Only the first and last child in the chain can catch others by touching them with their free hand.

4. If the chain breaks, you can’t catch anyone until you have joined hands again.

5. Remember to watch out for players who aren’t as fast as you!

How to win

· Das Spiel dauert so lange, bis alle Spieler gefangen sind.

· The game ends when everyone is caught.

Variations

· Eine andere Möglichkeit ist, mehrere Ketten zu bilden, zum Beispiel immer dann, wenn eine Kette eine bestimmte Schüleranzahl erreicht hat. So ist das Spiel nicht so gefährlich.

· You can also make more than one chain, e.g. start a new one whenever there is a certain number of children in the chain. That way the game is less dangerous.

2. Die anderen Spieler stehen in der Mitte und versuchen, den Ball zu fangen.

How to win

When a child from the middle catches the ball, the child who threw the ball has to go into the middle.

Rules

Ihr stellt euch alle im Kreis auf. Einer bekommt ein Tuch in die Hand und geht außen als „Plumpsack" um den Kreis herum. Dazu singen alle das Lied: „Dreht euch nicht um, denn der „Plumpsack" geht um. Wer sich umdreht oder lacht, kriegt den Buckel voll gemacht."(--Kassette)

You have to form a circle. One player holds the handkerchief in his hand and walks around the circle. He is the „plumpsack". All the children sing the song: „Don’t turn around, the plumpsack’s going round. If you turn around or laugh, he will hit you on the back." (tap)

Währenddessen lässt der „Plumpsack" das Tuch unauffällig auf den Boden hinter einem Kind fallen.. Merkt dieses Kind das, hebt es schnell das Tuch auf und rennt hinter dem „Plumpsack" her. Es muß ihn erwischen ,bevor dieser den leeren Platz erreicht und sich dort hinstellt. Fängt es ihn nicht, wird es zum „Plumpsack".

In the meantime the „plumpsack" has to drop the handkerchief behind another player. When he notices, he has to chase the „plumpsack" and catch him before he gets back round to the empty space in the circle. If he can’t catch him, he becomes the new „plumpsack".

Wenn ein Kind aus eurem Kreis nicht bemerkt, dass das Tuch hinter ihm liegt und der „Plumpsack" kann eine Kreisrunde gehen, wird es mit dem Spruch „Eins, zwei, drei, faules Ei" in die Mitte des Kreises geschickt. Ihr kommt auch hinein, wenn ihr als „Plumpsack" gefangen werdet. Befreit seid ihr erst, wenn ein anderes Kind ins „faule Ei" muß.

If a player doesn’t notice the handkerchief behind himself and the „plumpsack" makes it the whole way round the circle, that player has to go into the middle, and the children say: „one, two, three, lazybones". If the „plumpsack is caught, he has to go into the middle and is the „lazybones". The child in the middle is free when somebody else is sent to the middle.
